Member Expectations

To be selected for a scholarship or an opportunity to try out for a team, a student-athlete must market their skills and abilities to coaches and recruiters at those levels. Reality Recruits accomplishes that:

• Increased visibility for student athlete skills and capabilities
• Verified by Team Coaches or Athletic Director.
• Easy access for College Coaches and Recruiters.
• Reality Recruits will be used by coaches and recruiters at each level.
• Reality Recruits levels the respective playing fields and provides one source of information about prospective athletes that’s available to all.

Athletes: The information presented in your personal record will be exactly what we were able to verify. All video clips will reflect the content you directed be staged or converted to staged. All information will be used solely for the purpose of furthering your athletic and academic career. All athletes will be represented in the same manner. Athletes will be judged by the information presented, and selection for recruiting efforts, will be based on how well that athlete compares to others by each institution’s recruiting staff.

Certifying Officials: By certifying that an athlete’s information is correct, the certifying official states that he/she has personally witnessed or validated the information to be true. Certifying officials are persons in positions of responsibility within the respective school who have been empowered by school authorities to act on their behalf in this specific instance.

Coaches/Recruiters: Information access will be granted by only to those who act on behalf of their respective institution to recruit athletes for sponsored activities. Personal information will not be shared to others outside these efforts. Certified information truly represents the athletes.

Athletes

• Register to use the website and services.
• Select the sport that you wish to be considered in.
• TRUTHFULLY enter your information about your abilities they will be verified.
• Provide video clips when desired so that they may be updated.
• Contact with college coaches will follow all NCAA Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to Certifying Officials when questioned.
• Respond to your Coaches as requested.
• Respond to Recruiters and higher level Coaches following the NCAA rules and guidelines.
• Report violations to your Coach or Certifying Official.
• Protect your personal logon and password information.

How it works

Step 1: Athletes register and enter your information

Step 2: Reality Recruits will contact a certifying official (coach or athletic director) at the athlete’s school. The profile submitted by the athlete will be verified for accuracy.

Step 3: Using Reality Recruits database, coaches and recruiters can find the athletes that best fit their programs.

Step 4: As information changes, the athletes can update their records and change or add video clips with Reality Recruits. Certifying officials will be notified when these updates have been made so they can be verified.
